Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for assisting in multiple aspects of cable installation including pathways, rough-in, closet build-out, cable terminations, labeling, grounding, trouble-shooting and testing
Ability to complete tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency
Embrace H&M’s safety culture by following safe work practices and policies
Ability to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets
Assist with basic job site organization and housekeeping
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of structured cabling experience required
Demonstrated ability to exhibit a positive attitude and be a team player
Ability to meet deadlines, listen and follow instructions
Must be able to stoop, kneel, or crouch
Must be able to climb ladders and perform the necessary tasks while on the ladder
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and carry 25 lbs
Must have own tools
Ability to travel to multiple locations in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia
Occasional overtime and out of town travel may be required
No relocation provided, local candidates only
Preferred
Data Center Experience a plus
Industry Certifications a plus. (i.e. CommScope, Hilti, Panduit, etc.)
