Responsibilities
Respond to IT support requests in accordance with IT procedures
IT support requests may be received via phone, ticketing system, or in person
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Use available IT resources to assist end users
Provide resources and guidance to users as appropriate
Escalate issues requiring urgent attention when necessary
Log all IT support requests and resolutions in the IT ticketing system
Hardware support may include but is not limited to:
Laptop and desktop computers
Printers, copiers, and fax
Desktop scanners
Peripheral equipment (headsets, mice, keyboards, monitors)
Label printers
Phones
Update computers and user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory
Provide Microsoft Office support
Assist with IT set-up for new employees
Maintain ongoing inventory and tracking of hardware, software, and consumables
Image laptops and desktop computers
Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
Perform projects and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to follow through on IT support requests and projects
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt and learn new skills
Preferred
One year or more of experience in end-user technology support environment preferred
Associate degree or technical school degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
