The Business Intelligence Data Analyst Intern will support the development of analytics-ready datasets and reports, gaining exposure to modern analytics practices while contributing to data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of analytics-ready datasets, reports, and dashboards across one or more business domains
Assist in building and enhancing data visualizations and reports using BI tools to make insights accessible to business partners
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support operational and strategic decision-making
Partner with BI team members and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate questions into analytical outputs
Help document business requirements, assumptions, and metric definitions to support consistent and trusted reporting
Contribute to data quality and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI assets
Learn and apply best practices in SQL, data modeling, and analytics workflows
Explore and experiment with AI-enabled features in analytics and BI tools under guidance from the team
Qualification
Required
Completion of junior year of undergraduate study in Business Analytics, Data or Decision Science, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, and/or current enrollment in a graduate program
Strong interest in Business Intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making
Foundational knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write basic queries to explore and analyze data
Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, Omni) through coursework, projects, or internships
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, metrics, and reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to clearly communicate findings and ask thoughtful questions
Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and collaborate in a team environment
Proactive mindset with curiosity and enthusiasm for working with data
Preferred
Exposure to Power BI
Prior internship, academic project, or hands-on experience working with datasets
Familiarity with SaaS or technology business models
