Health and Human Resources Specialist, Senior - BPH - Kanawha Co.
The WV Departments of Health, Health Facilities, and Human Services is seeking a Senior Health and Human Resources Specialist to provide leadership and management for health promotion and chronic disease prevention efforts. The role involves managing the Quitline vendor agreement and aligning activities to enhance health and access to cessation services.

Responsibilities
Provides overall leadership, direction, guidance, program planning, management and administration of all Health Promotion and Chronic Disease’s (HPCD) funded Tobacco prevention efforts
Managing the Quitline vendor agreement which includes selecting services, budgeting, reporting, approving expenditures, and other grants management duties as needed
Align goals and activities toward improved health and increased access to cessation services and other tobacco prevention efforts
Provide technical assistance to partners and other organizations about Quitline services internally and externally
Work to connect people, programs and resources related to Quitline services and other tobacco prevention efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university
Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment
Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience
