The Staff Accountant will support the royalty accounting functions for the U.S. Division of Bravado Merchandising Service Group, participating in accounting, analysis, and reporting activities.

Responsibilities
Performing monthly royalty calculations and accruals in accordance with contractual terms and accounting standards
Reconciling royalty statements to Artist Sub-ledger in GL
Preparing and posting monthly journal entries using SAP and ServiceNow
Creating and maintaining detailed supporting schedules
Conducting GL account reconciliations and variance analysis
Collaborating with other internal departments to research and resolve royalty accounting issues and inquires
Preparing monthly artist studies and analyzing the activity
Communicating with label finance representatives to stay current with royalty related activity
Supporting various special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Excel skills required
Strong analytical skills required
Attention to detail
Ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Logical thinker with the ability to identify and solve problems efficiently
Highly motivated and eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
Strong oral and written communication skills
Authorized to work in the US
Preferred
CPA or MBA a plus
Macros or PowerQuery experience a plus
Experience with SAP or similar general ledger applications a plus
