Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and document batch programs
Support full development life cycle activities for application services
Investigate and resolve complex business and technical integration issues
Analyze existing systems and program requirements
Prepare documentation to modify or enhance existing programs
Design programs for new projects or enhancements
Write program specifications for low to moderate complexity programs
Assist in resolving production support issues and propose alternative solutions
Develop test plans and validate logic for new or modified programs
Create and maintain program code and technical documentation
Participate in quality assurance activities including peer reviews
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with C programming
Experience working on Unix/Linux systems
Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Hands-on experience with batch job automation and notification services
Strong complex SQL development and query tuning skills
6 to 12 years of experience in technical product configuration, design, and/or integration
Experience working with technical products, vendors, and related technologies
Experience with product configurations and system enhancements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems
Experience working in domains such as Member, Managed Care, Provider, Financial, or Claims
Ability to influence technical decisions at the enterprise level
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
