Responsibilities
Execute month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, complex account reconciliations, and chart of accounts maintenance
Oversee inventory accounting and cost analysis to ensure accurate valuation and reporting of manufacturing activities
Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
Lead internal control monitoring, support external audits, and ensure adherence to tax and regulatory requirements
Review AP/AR workflows, vendor aging, and expense processing for accuracy and policy compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Minimum of 5 years in inventory and cost accounting
Experience in manufacturing and startup environments
Advanced Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, modeling)
Deep understanding of GAAP
High attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines independently
Preferred
CPA (or active candidacy)
Public accounting experience
