Responsibilities
Plan and conduct complex engineering assignments requiring independent judgment
Supervise, coordinate, and review work of Engineers, Designers, and CAD Operators
Develop technical reports, studies, and system analyses
Evaluate substitute equipment and review system adjustments after installation
Represent the firm in meetings and coordinate across all trades
Perform engineering designs, calculations, and evaluations with advanced techniques
Mentor junior engineers and support project technical leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline required
Eight or more years of progressively responsible engineering experience in building systems design
Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering calculations, system analyses, and advanced technical evaluations
Experience reviewing system performance, evaluating alternative equipment, and resolving field discrepancies
Proven ability to mentor junior engineers, review design work, and provide quality control oversight
Strong coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams including architects, designers, CAD staff, and clients
Ability to represent the firm in client meetings, construction discussions, and design reviews
Proficiency with relevant engineering software, codes, and industry standards
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Engineer-in-Training (EIT) accepted with intent to obtain PE
