Experience: 8+ years in systems, networking, or embedded test engineering
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Network/Systems Engineering
Internships: Accepted if related to connectivity, networking, or embedded systems
Related Backgrounds: Network/Connectivity Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, Embedded Test Engineer, V&V Engineer, Field Test Engineer
Strong IP networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with LTE/5G and/or bonded cellular technologies
Linux configuration and debugging
Network analysis tools (Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc.)
Test plan creation, execution, and reporting
Experience with requirements management tools (Jama, DOORS)
V2X or remote-control system testing experience
Python and/or Bash scripting for test automation
Experience with embedded gateways (Cradlepoint, Peplink, Sierra, etc.)
Network redundancy and failover design/testing
RF and antenna fundamentals
Exposure to safety-critical or autonomous systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear and effective communication
Ownership mindset with ability to drive work end-to-end
Detail-oriented, structured, and methodical approach
Ability to simplify and explain complex systems
Experience leading cross-functional debugging efforts
Continuous improvement mindset
Comfort working across lab and field environments
No hands-on networking or Linux experience
Inability to analyze logs or packet captures
Unwillingness or discomfort with field-based testing
Qualification
Required
8+ years in systems, networking, or embedded test engineering
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Network/Systems Engineering
