InternZ-Band Technologies is seeking a Highschool Intern in Electrical Engineering to support their Engineering department. The intern will assist with various tasks including designing and testing prototypes, evaluating hardware components, and supporting product assembly processes.

Responsibilities
Shadows the engineering team throughout product development and design efforts, and provides assistance as needed with assembling prototypes, building test fixtures, writing rapid test code, etc
Supports product assembly processes, including integrating PCB assemblies into housings, connecting cable assemblies between PCBs, completing final case assembly, conducting basic visual inspections, and handling packaging and labeling
Assists with diagnostic testing and board-level repairs of incoming RMA units
Learn how to work as part of the engineering team to compile and analyze test data, track technical information, and provide tailored support to meet the company’s or client’s needs
Proactive and able to solve problems as they arise
Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Properly handle tools, equipment, and electronic components in accordance with training
Adheres to all Company policies, procedures, safety standards, and business ethics codes
Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all Company employees
Builds trust, values others, communicates effectively, drives execution, fosters innovation, focuses on the customer, collaborates, solves problems creatively, and demonstrates high integrity

Qualification
Required
A current high school junior or senior with demonstrated interest in electronics, engineering, robotics, or related STEM fields
The intern must have an entry-level understanding of electrical circuits
Strong willingness to learn
Able to prioritize, plan work activities, and consistently meet commitments and deadlines
Must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver's license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
Preferred
An entry-level understanding of lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes)
Familiarity with programming languages like C or Python is advantageous
Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus
