Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software for AMR / AGV systems using ROS / ROS2 and related robotics frameworks
Work with existing navigation, localization, and motion stacks, focusing on stability and runtime behavior
Debug issues in long-running robotic systems, including timing, synchronization, and integration problems
Integrate robotics software with sensors, controllers, and higher-level application logic
Support system testing, deployment, and on-site or remote troubleshooting as systems evolve
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and observability over time
Qualification
Required
Experience developing robotics software for mobile robots, AMR, AGV, or similar systems
Familiarity with ROS / ROS2 and robotics middleware
Strong software engineering fundamentals (C++ and/or Python)
Experience debugging real systems (not only simulation)
Understanding of robotics concepts such as navigation, localization, sensors, and system integration
Ability to work with existing, imperfect systems and improve them incrementally
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with industrial automation, manufacturing, or warehouse robotics
Exposure to system integration, deployment, or field testing
Familiarity with long-running or production robotics systems
Interest in growing toward system-level ownership over time
