Senior Project Accountant

As a Senior Project Accountant, you will work with a collaborative accounting team to ensure project cost accounting, manage invoicing, support project audits, and assist project managers in achieving financially successful projects.

Responsibilities
Project cost accounting (assist with project setup, verification, and reports)
Ensure invoicing requirements are met by deadlines
Help project managers achieve financially successful projects
Support project audits
Review and enter subconsultant invoices
Analyze and report accounts receivable status and collection
Assist team with process improvements
Other accounting related duties as assigned
Proficiency in MS Office, 10-key by touch
Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices
Outstanding attention to detail, proactive follow-up
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
Professional appearance, written and verbal skills
Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information
Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently
Anxious to learn and to help others
Proactively seeks to improve processes and increase efficiency

Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience)
3-5 years of related work experience; engineering, construction, or architectural experience is highly preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, 10-key by touch
Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices
