Responsibilities
Work independently and collaboratively with scientists to perform liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based proteomics experiments, including: protein extraction/digestion, solid-phase extraction (SPE), immunoaffinity enrichment, etc. following established SOPs
Help operate and maintain state-of-the-art LC-MS instrumentation (SCIEX 7500, Thermo TSQ Altis, Thermo Orbitrap Eclipse) and ensure high quality data generation for targeted proteomics
Perform comprehensive data analysis using a variety of methods and software, such as Skyline, Excel, R, Python, etc
Formally present data to team members and collaborators
Establish (design, test, and write) new or modify/optimize existing technical SOPs
Document experimental results in a reproducible manner
Assist with everyday lab operation, including but not limited to: maintaining lab inventories, ordering supplies, receiving packages, maintaining lab waste, facilitating engineer visits, communicating lab activities to supervisor, etc
Comply with all safety procedures, company policies, and established ways of work in the group
