Responsibilities
Assist in developing Measures of Performance (MOPs) and evaluation criteria to support the collection and assessment of SATCOM performance and usage data
Support the accumulation, organization, and interpretation of operational data to enable accurate demand forecasting
Contribute to analytical efforts that inform decisions on new or improved SATCOM infrastructure and technology upgrades
Provide SATCOM demand analysis for existing and emerging SATCOM capabilities and capacities
Assist in identifying SATCOM and gateway requirements based on usage trends, operational needs, and projected demand
Support assessments of system capacity, utilization, and performance to help shape future capability development
Work under supervision to apply standard analytical methods and technical processes
Collaborate with senior analysts, engineers, and program stakeholders to support SATCOM planning and requirements development
Prepare data summaries, charts, and inputs for reports, briefings, and decision-making materials
Qualification
Required
Up to 3 years of experience in SATCOM, communications analysis, systems engineering, data analytics, or a related technical field
Foundational understanding of satellite communications concepts, network capacity, or performance metrics
Ability to apply basic analytical techniques to technical data sets
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under supervision while developing technical expertise
Must be a US Citizen
Government issued Top Secret clearance required
Valid Passport is required
Preferred
Experience with SATCOM performance metrics, demand modeling, or capacity analysis
Familiarity with DoD SATCOM systems, gateways, or enterprise architectures
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, MATLAB, Python, etc.)
Relevant coursework or internships in communications, engineering, or data analytics
