Information Technology Intern
Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking an IT intern to join their team. The intern will assist with hardware, software, and network maintenance tasks, providing technical support and learning about IT processes under the supervision of the IT team.

Responsibilities
Technical support: a. Assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues for employees. b. Setting up and configuring computers and peripherals for new hires. c. Assisting with calls on the helpdesk
Cybersecurity: a. Assisting in monitoring and reviewing security incidents b. Following up with IT team members to complete response to alerts c. Assisting in coordinating SOG meeting
Project management: a. Assisting in coordinating IT projects, including creating project plans and schedules. b. Tracking project progress and updating stakeholders. c. Assisting in documenting project deliverables
IT procurement and asset management: a. Assisting in managing IT inventory and asset tracking. b. Reviewing obsolete equipment and creating list for destruction c. Assisting in reviewing standard equipment and placing order requests with vendors
IT documentation: a. Assisting in documenting IT processes, procedures, and configurations. b. Updating the company's knowledge base and creating user guides. c. Assisting in organizing and maintaining IT documentation
Qualification
Required
Basic computer hardware knowledge: Understand the components of a computer system, such as CPU, RAM, hard drives, and peripherals, and how they work together
Operating systems: Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS. Ability navigate the interface, perform basic system tasks, and troubleshoot common issues
Troubleshooting skills: Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve common issues. Ability to research solutions, use online resources, and effectively communicate with users to troubleshoot problems
Spreadsheets: Understand how to work with spreadsheets, including functions, formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic data manipulation. Familiarize yourself with Microsoft Excel
Documentation: Ability to document technical processes and procedures. Ability to create clear and concise documentation to assist users and support team members
