Responsibilities
Maintain all processing and related equipment, and fabricate parts if necessary
Make all repairs in a timely manner, fill out completed work orders
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain documentation log books
Maintain a sufficient inventory of parts to minimize production downtime
And any other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Basic understanding of HACCP and Allergen programs
Follow all food safety regulations
Two years certificate from college or technical school, or two years of documented industrial maintenance experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
Preferred
Experience in a high speed manufacturing site, preferably with packaging experience
