They are seeking a Research & Development Intern to provide critical support to the R&D team by assisting with design, prototyping, and improvement of window systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities
Support the development of new product offerings and modifications to existing product lines
Assist with the design, documentation, and improvement of fixtures and small tools used in manufacturing
Create and update engineering drawings and models using 2D and 3D design software
Support standardization of drawings, processes, and procedures using good documentation practices
Assist with prototyping, testing, and evaluation of new designs and equipment
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Experience with 2D drawing software (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Fusion, or similar)
Ability and willingness to work hands-on in a production or manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
