Prepare various financial reporting packages for the business
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
Reviews budget reports and assists in budget preparation
Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements
Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
5 years experience in Accounting
Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
Experience with ERP and reporting tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel (VLookups/Pivot Tables)
