New Grad, Entry LevelA. Duie Pyle is seeking a Dedicated Dispatcher to join our team in Allentown, PA. In this key position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our dedicated drivers, responsible for maintaining communication, resolving issues, and supporting operational needs.
Transportation
Responsibilities
Dispatching drivers in TMW system; managing assigned driver schedules
Making sure that drivers show up for assigned start time so they can meet customers cut times
Interacting with customers shipping team
Insuring sure drivers are following PYLE SOPS (fuel at the end of shift, DVIR, accurate paperless logs)
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or equivalent
Good computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft desired
Ability to solve problems
Good communication skills; excellent attention to detail and decision making skills
Team oriented with good interpersonal skills; demonstrates initiative
Preferred
LTL/Dedicated transportation or warehouse operations background
Prior dispatch and routing experience
