The role involves conducting lab experiments, performing mouse studies, and assisting in manuscript writing.

Responsibilities
Performing lab experiments, including cell culture, protein and nucleic acid isolation, quantification, and analysis, immunofluorescence, microscopy, and other techniques
Performing mouse studies, including tissue collection and analysis by histology, and protein isolation and analysis, and ocular imaging studies
Analyzing data, trouble shooting, and presenting at lab meeting
Presenting at institutional and national and international conferences as appropriate
Assisting in manuscript writing, preparation, and submission
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's Degree is required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to perform duties independently
Strong ability to analyze complex visual data in a quantitative and objective manner
Judgment and action skills required to solve commonly encountered problems
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
Previous lab experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and mouse experiments
Minimum 4 years of experience in a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
Preferred
Previous publications in basic science vision research
PhD degree is preferred
