Responsibilities

Prepare annual New York State Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR)

Prepare annual New York State Consolidated Budget Report (CBR)

Prepare quarterly Consolidated Quarterly Reports (CQR) for County reporting

Assist with CFR desk audits from NYS OMH/OASAS agencies

Maintain fixed assets within the ERP system, including asset purchases and disposals

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

Monitor cash flow and process online bank transfers

Record prepaid expense transactions and monitor allocations using NetSuite

Create, post, update, and correct general journal entries

Review and approve purchase orders and invoices related to CFR-reported programs

Perform monthly and annual balance sheet account analyses

Provide documentation and support for the organization’s annual audit

Serve as back-up Payroll Administrator, including payroll processing, timesheet review, and employee payroll inquiries

Assist with special projects and additional tasks as assigned by finance leadership

Required

NetSuite experience is required

Associate's degree or higher in Accounting

Prior nonprofit accounting experience required

Experience preparing audit schedules

Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and general ledger accounting

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

Familiarity with NYS CFR preparation strongly preferred
