The Associate Production Controller will ensure the smooth flow of materials through the production process, coordinate with teams to resolve delays, and ensure that production targets are met.

Responsibilities
Monitor Production Schedules: Track and update the status of ongoing production processes, ensuring that timelines are met and materials are available when needed to avoid delays
Prevent Stoppages: Communicate between cross-functional teams to expedite the delivery of materials, track any shortages to resolution, and highlight incoming production blockers
Resolve Bottlenecks and Adjust Timelines: Identify and address potential production delays, adjusting schedules or reallocating resources to maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime
Satisfy Customers: Ensure the delivery of completed end-items to their staging location for internal customer pickup, testing, and evaluation
Qualification
Required
An associate's degree or higher is required (or equivalent experience / certifications)
2+ years of previous demonstrated excellence in a manufacturing, production, or logistics environment is required with a preference for experience in production planning or inventory management
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential
The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously within set timelines, and maintain attention to detail is important
In-depth familiarity with manufacturing processes, production scheduling software, and inventory management systems (e.g., ERP / MRP systems) is required
Ability to work collaboratively with various departments, suppliers, and vendors to resolve issues and keep production on track
Preferred
Experience in a defense and/or manufacturing startup environment
APICS certification desired
Deltek Costpoint familiarity desired
