Family & Children's Association is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist who will be responsible for the preparation and submission of claims to various funding sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role also involves monitoring contract budgets to maximize funding and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare assigned contract claims and related supporting documentation needed to meet the requirements of funding sources
Monitor and approve contract expenses utilizing the ERP system to ensure claims are aligned with available funding
Effectively communicate and collaborate with fiscal team, program staff and funding sources
Prepare adjustments to the accounts receivable subledger to ensure proper accounting for advances, recoupments and disallowances
Maintain monthly cumulative reports for distribution to programs. Meet with program leadership quarterly to review program contract/grant spending
Maintain information needed for agency and funding source audits
Perform other duties as assigned

Contract claims experienceGeneral ledger accountingNetSuite experienceBachelor's degree in accountingCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
3-5 years of related work experience
Experience with contract claims in a nonprofit environment
Experience with general ledger accounting software

Preferred

NetSuite experience a +
