HR & Operations Coordinator
NES, Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in providing environmental, health, and safety training and consulting. They are seeking a reliable HR & Operations Coordinator to support their people and day-to-day business operations, focusing on HR support and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
Maintain personnel files and HR documentation
Maintain the Organizational Chart
Support benefits administration and open enrollment
Coordinate compliance activities (training tracking, documentation, audits)
Serve as a point of contact for basic employee HR questions
Assist with recruiting coordination and interview scheduling
Assist with Human Resources Administrative tasks
Provide day-to-day administrative support to leadership and staff
Manage calendars, meetings, and internal communications
Support expense reporting, invoicing, and document management
Maintain office systems, supplies, and vendor coordination
Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as needed
Assist with planning company events
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in HR, operations, or administrative support roles
High school diploma required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Highly dependable — follows through and can be trusted with sensitive information
Self-starter — works independently and takes initiative without constant direction
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a consulting environment
Service-oriented, detail-focused, and solutions-minded
Preferred
Associate's Degree preferred
Experience in a professional services, consulting, or similar environment preferred
Familiarity with HR systems and compliance requirements is a plus
