IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT/INFOSEC)
Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking an IT Cybersecurity Specialist to support the mission of the US Cyber Command. The role involves providing technical guidance and support to customers, ensuring their critical business activities are minimally interrupted, and managing customer performance requirements and support policies.

Responsibilities
Providing technical guidance over IT systems and applications
Provides advice and assistance to customers to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities
Reviews technical and design specifications to address customer requirements
Provides technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client level hardware and software
Develops and manages customer performance requirements and customer support policies and procedures
Serves on application implementation team to ensure that customer service requirements are addressed

Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months
Security clearances vary based on the position and location in which you are selected. Incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret, SCI, Yankee White Security Clearance, and/or a Polygraph examination
All positions on this vacancy require incumbent to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with or without access to SCI (dependent on the position of selection)
Yankee White: If applicable to position of selection, incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a Yankee White security clearance in accordance with DoD Instruction 5210.87
Polygraph: If applicable to the position of selection, Incumbent will be required to pass a polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position
This is a drug testing position
This is a Key Position. This position cannot be vacated during an emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively
Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating the following competencies appropriate to, or above, the level of this position: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service
Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of the announcement
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level
