Community Project Analyst

Responsibilities

Performing project support, data collection and analysis, and creating synthesis documents for the general public and policy community for the Collaborative Learning for Equity and Respiratory health (CLEAR) Lab
Supporting programmatic implementation, data synthesis and analysis, and community and policy translation of findings to diverse stakeholders
Supporting logistics for study implementation and associated events
Communications with multi-sectorial partners
Collecting primary data through qualitative interviews and analyses

Required

Bachelor's degree in related area and one or more years of relevant experience and/or equivalent experience/training
Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs
Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns
Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
Experience with working effectively in communities experiencing environmental hazards and with high health burdens
Ability to work independently
Professionalism—able to maintain the utmost professionalism in all situations, and work effectively with stakeholders who range from community partners to university leadership to donors
Commitment to vision and values of ZSFG Pulmonary including diversity and inclusion

Preferred

Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques
Knowledge of public health topics
Knowledge (or ability to learn quickly) UCSF operations including BearBuy, Recharge, MyExpense, Connexus
Knowledge of key software such as: UCSF Drupal websites, Canva, Dedoose
