Senior Non-Destructive (NDT) Technician

Responsibilities
Advises on advanced technology in non-destructive instrumentation and inspection principles, processes and techniques
Guides implementation of advanced inspection or test techniques
Develops innovative test processes and equipment
Consults suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues involving tests, processes and equipment
Develops principles and methods for analyzing test, inspection or statistical data
Consults on corrective action to resolve process or product anomalies
Participates on enterprise and industry teams to influence the standardization and regulation of training and certification requirements
Qualification
Required
Currently hold or previously held (last 18 months) NAS410 Certified Level III in Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiographic (RT) method
More than 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
More than 5 years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
More than 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or manufacturing support
This position requires the candidate to hold current or recently current (within the last 18 months) NAS410 NDT certification Level III in a minimum of one of the following methods: Ultrasonic (UT) or Radiography (RT)
Employees will be required to obtain a minimum of Level III certification in UT or RT method. Failure to achieve or maintain the required certifications may lead to termination of employment
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Preferred
Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Current or recently held (in the last 18 months) NAS410 Certified Level III in one or more NDT methods (Radiography (RT), Eddy Current (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT)
More than 3 years of experience with aerospace Non-Destructive Testing
More than 3 years of experience performing Non-Destructive Testing on composite parts
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
