Responsibilities
Develops and maintains targeted high-level relationships and contacts with the account(s)
Prospect and “close” new business opportunities through standard product, custom product and integrated solution selling
Perform account planning and key account research to optimize efforts and account penetration
Ensures margin growth year on year and in line with the account plan and budget requirements
Manage complex pricing models aligned with Key Customers expectations
Regularly inform leadership of changing market dynamics and other factors influencing accounts of strategic importance
Regularly document activities in Salesforce and maintain an up to date “pipeline” of qualified opportunities
Collaborate with technology business internal leaders for an integrated Go-to-Market (GTM) approach
Supporting overall strategic business approach
Manage and communicate with internal cross functional teams to support and execute customer opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or Engineering (MBA a plus)
Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in food ingredient manufacturing covering flavor or ingredient solutions
Strong, self-driven work ethic, ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive, driven, articulate and persuasive communication skills
Strong business and commercial acumen
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50%
