Agency Operations Assistant

They are seeking an Agency Operations Assistant to provide operational and administrative support to the commercial lines team, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining client data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and administrative support to the commercial lines team to ensure efficient workflow across client service, underwriting coordination, and internal processes
Assist Account Managers, Producers, and Operations leadership with daily tasks that uphold agency service standards and compliance procedures
Maintain accuracy and organization of client data, documents, and transactions within agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic)
Act as a central communication point for internal team members, carriers, and vendors to support timely servicing and issue resolution
Contribute to process improvement by identifying workflow gaps and recommending operational enhancements
Support agency initiatives related to quality assurance, documentation integrity, and operational best practices

Qualification

Agency management systemsCommercial P&C insuranceMicrosoft OfficeOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, or Vertafore tools
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a professional customer service mindset and willingness to support various operational functions

Preferred

Associate degree or coursework in business, finance, or insurance preferred
1–3+ years of experience in insurance, administrative support, or operations within a P&C agency or brokerage environment preferred
Strong understanding of commercial P&C insurance fundamentals, including certificates, endorsements, general liability, property, auto, and workers' compensation (preferred)
