Voice Network Systems Support Analyst III*
NEOGOV is seeking a Voice Network Systems Support Analyst III for the Innovation and Technology Department. The role involves maintaining the County's telecommunications networks, providing technical support for network hardware and software, and executing VoIP network troubleshooting and system upgrades.

Responsibilities
Maintaining the County's telecommunications networks
Analyze, evaluate, test, recommend, customize, and provide technical support for network hardware and software products
Install and implement unified communication hardware and software
Analyze Cisco network hardware and software historical data and traffic patterns to improve voice network performance
Design network topology and work with staff to implement
Develop and implement dialing and network routing strategy for the County's unified communication platform
Execute VoIP network troubleshooting
Implement system upgrades
Perform strategic planning and tactical disaster recovery
Prepare and submit reports as required by management
Analyze service levels, network capacity utilization
Implement network and software changes/upgrades
Analyze Customer requirements and submit job quote requests to vendors
Evaluate vendor quote requests for accuracy and submit to management for purchase approval
Evaluate licensing needs and compliancy within Cisco and associated systems
Train coworkers and subordinates on new and existing technologies
Qualification
Required
Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of college level qualifying coursework in telecommunications, electronic or information technology, computer science, public or business administration, or a closely related field
Specialized technology courses or certificate programs with 450 hours of classroom instruction (equivalent to one year of college level education) is acceptable
Three (3) years of full-time equivalent work experience within the last five (5) years with Cisco VoIP networks, including responsibility for installation, maintenance, repair, and/or upgrades
An additional one (1) year of qualifying experience within the last five (5) years may be substituted for education
Preferred
Experience and knowledge in Telephony and Data Infrastructures, Networking, Cisco UCS servers, VMWare, UCM and Unity Connection
Strong problem solving and analytic skills are highly desirable
Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
Ability to achieve goals through influence, collaboration, and cooperation
