The Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing manufacturing and logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply chain processes, and supporting the customer success team with operational queries.

Responsibilities
Be the primary point of contact for all vendor and 3rd party relationships across our entire supply chain (from raw materials to packaging to cold storage & logistics)
Lead the coordination & communication with all of our partners, spanning from production orders to inventory counts
Manage the processing of information & data within our company data systems to help with demand & inventory planning — including modeling, scheduling & organizing logistics
Manage & monitor operational dashboards, escalating risks and insights to the Director of Ops
Own the Accounts Payable review process for all operations-related bills to ensure accuracy & to track longer term trends for costs
Support the customer success team with regards to any and all operational questions or issues that arise, such as damaged packages from shipping or abnormalities related to a certain SKU
Manage and maintain operations data at Viva; you are the go-to person when there are questions about discrepancies or if a spreadsheet needs to be whipped up to answer an ops question
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination, with a working knowledge of inventory management practices and principles
Killer execution & attention to detail. You're the type of person who doesn't ‘miss things' & knows how to just get s••• done. You're a natural at juggling a bunch of things while never dropping the ball
Strong analytical skills—you live in spreadsheets and think in tables
Solid people and communication skills: you know how to build rapport and be professional, while also getting to the point. This role will involve communicating with lots of people, both external and within the Viva team
Strong understanding of logistics and procurement processes. Knowing how to obtain information and where pitfalls are commonly found will be crucial
Fluency in spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets & Excel. You're the excel whiz that knows your way around XLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, and can whip up with any analysis required by the team
Familiarity with all sorts of tools and softwares used for remote work or able to pick them up quickly & add to your arsenal (Slack, Notion, Asana, Google Drive, Zapier, etc.)
A natural resourcefulness and curiosity–you like understanding how things work and are willing to problem solve proactively if challenges arise. Also important is knowing when to escalate and ask for help
Meticulous digital organization skills. Good data management makes everyone's lives easier. As the person who will be most involved with lots of information, you are the first line of defense and will be the steward of good data habits
Preferred
Experience working at a CPG or e-Commerce business. Even better if it is in the pet industry
Computer programming familiarity or skill
Experience in fresh food production, including manufacturing and sourcing of protein & other raw materials
Experience shipping perishable products (small parcel via UPS / FedEx)
Successful track record working on a small but fast-growing team
Eastern or Central time zones
