Responsibilities
Participate in and support the systems development approach as an engineering exercise. I ensure requirements and specifications are clear, follow a documented development/build methodology, and make sure a robust unit, system, and integration testing regimen is followed to deliver solutions per design
Outline, develop, and document clear requirements and technical specifications following an established methodology
Create and update documentation as necessary to ensure architectures, designs, and other descriptions are up-to-date and describe the as-deployed system
Consult in the development/build planning process with customers, IT business system analysts, architects, information security, and other team members
Contribute to or develop technical solutions to meet defined requirements including changes, enhancements, or development of new infrastructure, platforms, and other systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience
Preferred
Plus 2 year of relevant work experience
Hands on experience administering and configuring enterprise access control systems such as Lenel OnGuard and Genetec Security Center
Proven background in low voltage systems, including door hardware integrations, badge readers, intrusion sensors, and cable management
Skilled in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting security specific software platforms, including badge management, alarm monitoring, and event workflow systems
Experience with Axis IP cameras, including installation, VMS integration, firmware management, and video analytics configuration
Strong understanding of physical security infrastructure end to end—access control, video surveillance, intercoms, and network based security devices
