Responsibilities
Design and develop cutting-edge mechanical systems and components for Medicreations' laser medical devices
Perform detailed engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations
Partner with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software elements
Prototype, test, and validate mechanical designs to ensure they meet rigorous performance, safety, and regulatory standards
Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications
Support manufacturing teams by transitioning designs into production, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing designs
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA)
Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and best practices to keep our products at the cutting edge of innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
3+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, ideally in medical device, healthcare, or high-tech industries
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus)
Strong grasp of material properties, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques
Proven experience with prototyping, testing, and validating mechanical systems
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE Marking)
Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred
