Responsibilities
Provide support to maintenance and process team improvement projects
Assist with the design, development, and testing of new or modified equipment, components, and systems
Support data collection and analysis for root cause investigations, failure analysis, and quality improvement initiatives
Assist in updating and creating engineering documentation, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams
Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety within manufacturing processes
Participate in equipment installations, production upgrades, commissioning activities, or process trials under guidance from engineers
Utilize CAD software to create or revise drawings, layouts, or models as needed for project work
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate project progress and results
Engage with cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, quality, and safety to drive project success
Support internal and external communication efforts related to engineering projects and initiatives
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Must be currently enrolled in an ABET accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools
Displays competence and a good attitude
