Management Analyst, Senior

Responsibilities

Manages, plans, develops, implements, evaluates, administers, coordinates, and oversees a variety of highly complex projects and programs including budget, grants and contract administration, legislative, management, and operations; develops recommendations on policies, procedures, and standards; performs complex financial and budget analysis; exercises discretion and independent judgment
Tracks department issues, and assures that action items are properly processed, managed, and resolved
Direct and supervise the work of assigned staff, develop staff skills, and evaluates performance; meets regularly with staff to discuss and resolve priorities, technical issues, quality standards, workload, and address performance issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration; AND five (5) years of experience analyzing, researching, developing, implementing, and administering projects and programmatic assignments, including supervising experience
OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job

Preferred

Experience in Administrative Management, working with stakeholders and team members to meet administrative needs of work groups
Skills in utilization of asset management, finance, and/or human resource software systems
Program management within a large work group, such as safety, training, etc
