Responsibilities
Support the Business Manager with daily accounting operations
Perform reconciliation of scheduled general ledger accounts
Accurately process and review accounting debits and credits
Serve as a floater/auditor supporting internal departments
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
Support payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting as needed
Maintain a fanatical commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
Perform additional accounting duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience required
Independent proficiency with basic accounting principles and GAAP
Independent proficiency with reconciling, scheduled general ledger accounts, and accounting debits/credits required
Attention to detail and a fanatical commitment to accuracy is required
Preferred
Payroll, Tax, Automotive Retail Industry, A/P, A/R, and/or Financials experience helpful
