Adopt America Network (AAN) is a nonprofit organization that connects children waiting in foster care with permanent families while providing support before, during, and after the family is united. The President serves as the chief executive officer, responsible for leadership, strategy, and operational oversight, with a focus on fundraising and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the Board
Provide visionary leadership to staff and volunteers
Lead fundraising efforts including donor cultivation, grant writing, and events
Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, partners, and community stakeholders
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure financial sustainability
Prepare and manage annual budgets in partnership with the Board Treasurer
Work closely with the Board of Directors to set goals and provide regular updates
Assist in board development and governance best practices
Ensure high-quality, mission-aligned programming
Monitor program outcomes and impact
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
5+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
Proven track record in fundraising, financial management, and strategic planning
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
