Responsibilities
Define authoritative schemas and data governance for airport basemaps, assets, and operational layers; enforce versioning, QA, and metadata requirements
Architect ingestion pipelines for aerial imagery, orthos, LiDAR, survey outputs, and derived datasets into a compliant GIS database
Establish data exchange patterns between BIM/CAD systems and GIS, including "as-built/record" handling and long-term retention needs
Support indoor/space datasets for 3D indoor mapping and digital twin use cases (spaces, assets, relationships)
Define quality metrics and continuous validation processes so operational dashboards and inspections rely on trusted data
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a data architect in GIS - schema design, governance, QA, ingestion, and lifecycle management
Experience with reality capture / survey / LiDAR or large geospatial datasets
Preferred
BIM/GIS integration experience and airport/transportation domain familiarity
