Responsibilities

Collaborate with US VAR partners to plan and execute co-marketing campaigns that drive demand and generate sales qualified opportunities (SQOs)
Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned VAR (value-added reseller) partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with Sage’s strategic goals
Collaborate with Partner Sales, Product Marketing, and internal Performance Marketing teams to support partner marketing initiatives and campaigns
Provide strategic and consultative guidance to partners on marketing best practices, campaign execution, and performance optimization
Track, measure, and report on partner campaign performance and planned activities, including insights into what’s working well and where improvements are needed
Manage partner MDF (Market Development Funds) and ensure effective utilization and ROI
Support partner enablement through marketing content, tools, and training
Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with partners and Sage Partner Sales Leadership to assess marketing impact and identify growth opportunities
Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to inform partner strategies

Required

5 years of experience as a channel/partner marketing manager for software reseller partners OR demand generation marketing manager
Experience marketing B2B SaaS / software solutions (ERP solutions preferred)
Demand marketing expertise including lead flow, campaign strategies and tactics
Experience tracking integrated campaign and funnel performance - from MQL through SQL - and using analysis to identify gaps, measure results, and optimize co-marketing programs
Ability to build trusted, consultative partner relationships and influence adoption of marketing programs to deliver measurable results
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
Creative problem-solving abilities and a bias for action
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
