Production Expeditor

Responsibilities

Understand electronic manufacturing build process and product routing to be able to facilitate accurate shop order status
Create and maintain promise and predicted dates based on current capacity
Evaluate and maintain schedule information for all open Shop Orders (SOs) in IFS
Facilitate the flow of production based on defined FIFO/Lean processes. Coordinate with department Managers to ensure queuing is accurate and maintained daily
Proactively identify potential risks, material shortages, or process bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering, quality control, and planning departments to resolve issues swiftly
Support internal weekly program management team status meetings
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting workflow optimizations aimed at enhancing efficiency and on-time delivery performance
Other duties as assigned by manager

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or other related fields
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (such as IFS) as well as Microsoft Office for tracking and reporting purposes
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities to coordinate with diverse teams and internal stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and the capacity to make timely decisions when addressing production issues and delays
US Citizenship Required

Preferred

Understanding of Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) manufacturing processes
