Assists or co-leads research projects on socio-environmental topics
Supports research by planning and executing fieldwork
Analyzes data, writes reports, and engages stakeholders
Coordinates interdisciplinary research, education programs and activities by planning meetings, recruiting participants, and outreach
May design and direct the construction of research equipment
Maintains inventory records of equipment and supplies and initiates purchase orders to replenish supplies
Regular and prompt attendance
Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
Related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in a physical or natural science from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
