Supply Chain Contract Coordinator

St. Claire HealthCare is seeking a Supply Chain Contract Coordinator to administer and maintain supply chain contracts. The role involves ensuring timely resolution of contract discrepancies, monitoring contract performance, and coordinating with stakeholders to improve contract management processes.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and administers contract lifecycle activities, including new agreements, amendments, extensions, conversions, and renewals
Manages and monitors compliance with contracting processes, including RFP and bid development, assessment, negotiation, and contract extensions using judgment for standard tasks and escalating complex or unusual issues
Maintains up-to-date tracking and documentation of all bidding processes and personal service contracts ensuring accuracy and adherence to departmental procedures
Ensures accurate and timely entry and maintenance of contract data, terms, and status changes in contract management systems
Monitors supplier performance and ensures resolution of issues related to pricing accuracy and service quality escalating complex issues as needed
Identifies, investigates, and resolves contract discrepancies, escalating complex issues as needed, following standard procedures and consulting supervisor for escalated issues
Participates in business reviews with key suppliers and manages strategic supplier relationships
Analyzes product, equipment, and service requirements and related costs to support planning, acquisition, inventory management, and disposition strategies
Develops performance reports and assess metrics on contract administration, turnaround times, error rates, and compliance to leadership using standard reporting templates and escalating anomalies
Assists in monitoring market trends to ensure contracts are benchmarked appropriately and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, reporting findings and recommendations to supervisor
Acts as a designated purchasing agent of the hospital as needed
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
All experience must be paid and in the same related field
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted
