Responsibilities

Develop deep business relationships to enable integration and understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and assist with developing system designs and requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes
Understand emerging technology trends and disruptions and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business capabilities
Lead requirements capturing exercises, understanding the “what” and “why” from a business perspective before figuring out technology “how”. Partner with internal and external technical teams to understand and influence the appropriate menu of technologies and tools to be used for solution delivery efforts
Analyze the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommend solutions for improvement
Prioritize enhancements, service, and support initiatives for the service providers within the legal areas
Partner with technical vendors to meet commitments as set in contracts and/or SLA and perform vendor risk assessments
Ensure supported business areas achieve and realize value out of IT investments
Ensure effective communication across Legal, IT, Quality and Service Providers
Eliminate project barriers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Manage the release and deployment strategy for various legal systems or projects
Manage system support and continuous improvement for various legal systems
Work with business owners, solution architects, vendors, and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle

Required

Demonstrated communication, leadership, teamwork, project delivery, and problem-solving skills
Health care industry knowledge and business acumen
Demonstrated ability to influence IT and business strategies to drive large-scale outcomes
Experience with formal project management methodologies, agile frameworks (including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and working knowledge of associated practices and tools
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills, working across agile and diverse teams
Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
Ability to understand the long-term ('big picture') and short-term perspectives of situations
Demonstrated ability to think creatively about complex business problems and resolve these through new approaches
Skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related scientific discipline or a Highschool Diploma with 7+ years of experience in IT
Minimum 5 years of IT experience or related field
Hands-on experience using AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, CloudFormation, and API Gateway)
Experience with Agile, DevOps, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, ServiceNow, and Power BI
Experience with Modern security protocols such as OAuth, JSON Web Tokens, Kerberos, TLS/SSL
Experience in integrating cloud solutions
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
