Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Purchasing Representative to support the COMNAVAIRPAC Carrier Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (CEMAT). The role involves managing the procurement and distribution of materials, including obtaining vendor quotes and processing requisitions for use on CVNs.

Responsibilities

Obtaining vendor quotes
Processing requisitions in the Supply Logistics Information Management Program (SLIMP)
Processing requisitions in CostPoint
Ensuring material received by government is the correct material
Issuing material for use on CVNs

Qualification

US Navy Supply experienceMaterial requisitionsLogistics tools proficiencyRelational Supply (R-Supply)Organization maintenance management system (OMMS-NG)Computer skillsWritten communicationVerbal communication

Required

6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Experience generating material requisitions in the US Navy Supply system as a contractor, government employee or while serving in the US Navy
Experience using Relational Supply (R-Supply) and Organization maintenance management system (OMMS-NG)
Experience researching, ordering and shipping material
Experience using the following logistics tools such as: Haystack, OneTouch, and Fedlog
Maintaining material inventory and issuing material
Creating, maintain, verifying and filling required requisition forms, bills of laden, records and files
Reconciling invoices
Generating status reports on logistics activities and issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance
Must be able to obtain a CAC badge and base / ship access and maintain them

Preferred

One or more assignments onboard a US Navy Aircraft Carrier
US Navy Supply background as active-duty Navy and / or as a contractor
A current or active DoD security clearance
