Network Software Engineer - DLA

Responsibilities

Define technical specifications and implement complex network software systems for government enterprise environments
Configure, test, modify, and maintain network monitoring and management applications to maximize availability, compliance, and security
Design and support automation solutions for LAN/WAN infrastructures, integrating commercial off-the-shelf tools across multi-vendor, heterogeneous environments
Analyze performance and availability data to produce dashboards, reports, and operational metrics supporting incident response and troubleshooting
Integrate and support Linux/Unix administration, virtualization/container platforms, automation, and enterprise monitoring tools including OpenText, Broadcom, NetScout, SolarWinds, and Grafana
Implement system integration utilizing protocols such as SNMPv3, APIs, NETCONF, and automated discovery for accurate data interoperability
Apply and enforce U.S. Government-mandated security controls, such as CAC authentication, certificates, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Ensure strict compliance with cybersecurity policy requirements and DISA STIGs
Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders for planning, documentation, deployment, and sustainment
