Responsibilities
Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet on time customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing waste
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are maintained
Lead and motivate a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve production targets
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies for continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, engineering, project management, and quality assurance, to optimize production processes and resolve issues
Manage inventory levels and materials procurement to support production schedules and minimize stockouts or excess inventory
Implement and enforce Safety protocols, Quality Control and Regulatory compliance measures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Drive initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality through automation, process optimization, or technology integration
Analyze production data and trends to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and operational excellence
Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on production performance, forecasting, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Conduct regular audits to assess the efficiency of operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field
3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role, with a proven track record of driving results, and managing teams
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve production targets
Proven experience in production management, with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment
Experience with inventory management, procurement, and supply chain optimization
Familiarity with manufacturing principles and other methodologies for process improvement
Project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
Self driven, accountable and ability to deal with management of change
Preferred
Real-world Experience in the construction and manufacturing preferred
Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) highly favored
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Email, and Wrike (preferred, but will train)
