Responsibilities
You will work on projects that advance the fundamentals of machine learning and systems research. Focus areas may include:
Scalable and Distributed ML: Training, inference, and deployment methods for large models across diverse and distributed compute environments
Efficient, Sustainable, and Optimized AI: Techniques to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability through algorithmic, representational, and system-level innovations
Generative, Multimodal, and Integrated Learning: Modern generative methods and models that combine multiple data sources for richer understanding, representation, and synthesis
Autonomous, Adaptive, and Embodied Intelligence: Learning-based approaches for perception, planning, reasoning, and interaction in complex, dynamic, or real-world environments
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and studying towards a PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering
Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience
Preferred
Background in machine learning, computer science, or electrical/computer engineering, with experience designing, training, or analyzing ML models using frameworks like PyTorch or Hugging Face
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages, with interest in research and long-term innovation
Engagement in the ML community through open-source contributions, research projects, or peer-reviewed publications
