Responsibilities
Support plant operations by troubleshooting automation, instrumentation, and control issues
Own small-to-medium automation improvements from concept through implementation
Improve reliability, standardization, and documentation of control systems
Work closely with process engineers, maintenance, IT/OT, and operators
Reduce reliance on external contractors by building in-house capability
Other duties assigned by Belvidere leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemical, industrial, mechanical engineering (or related technical discipline) required
4-8 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
Strong PLC and/or DCS experience (Emerson DeltaV experience is a plus, but not required)
Comfortable troubleshooting live production systems under real-world constraints
Background in batch or continuous process manufacturing (pharma, chemicals, food, or similar regulated environments preferred)
