Responsibilities
Implement AI-powered ERP components using Java, Quarkus, and PostgreSQL following established architectural patterns
Apply prompt engineering strategies designed by senior engineers to enhance ERP modules with natural language interfaces and conversational experiences
Integrate pre-trained machine learning models into ERP features including data classification, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflow automation
Implement RESTful APIs connecting digital assistant services with core ERP business logic based on provided specifications
Independently own medium-complexity features from implementation through deployment, ensuring code quality and performance
Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI-enhanced features including integration testing, prompt effectiveness validation, and performance verification
Participate actively in code reviews, incorporating feedback and learning from senior team members
Support entry-level engineers and interns with coding questions, best practices, and technical guidance
Contribute to technical documentation for features and components you develop
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related technical field
2-4 years of professional experience in software development
Proven track record of delivering production code in enterprise or SaaS environments
Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Proficient in Java (Java 17+) and Python with demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code
Experience with Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar enterprise Java frameworks
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including writing optimized queries
Experience working with large language models (GPT, Claude, LLaMA) and implementing prompts in production applications
Experience implementing RESTful APIs with proper authentication and error handling
Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and modern IDEs
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or OCI services
Strong analytical skills with ability to debug complex issues across the stack
Embracing an AI-first approach where GenAI and agentic AI tools are essential collaborators
Strong interest in prompt engineering techniques and conversational AI systems
Curiosity about natural language processing and how AI enhances user experiences
Basic awareness of AI ethics and prompt safety considerations
Comfortable with rapid AI tool evolution and eager to experiment with new AI capabilities for prompt engineering and ERP optimization
Committed to sharing AI-enhanced approaches with the team
Ability to apply prompt engineering to solve real-world ERP business problems
