Intern, Design Engineer
Arm is a company that supports global design teams in all aspects of PDK and related EDA tools. The Design Engineer Intern will install, qualify, and evaluate foundry PDKs, contribute to DTCO studies, and assist with technology file management and version control processes.

Responsibilities
Install, qualify, and evaluate foundry PDKs under the mentorship of a senior engineer
Contribute to DTCO studies involving tasks such as SPICE simulation, DRC, layout parasitic RC extraction, and other support-related activities
Assist with technology of file management and version control processes
Gain hands-on experience with leading EDA tools and semiconductor build workflows
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled and studying towards a Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome)
Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience
Completed coursework in circuit design and microelectronics
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, TCL, Unix shell
Comfortable working in a UNIX/Linux and Windows environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced development environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A collaborative, proactive, and hardworking approach to work
